Beautiful victorian porcelain child figurine by the artist Jan Hagara.
I have a
large personal collection of Jan Hagara figurines that I have been
collecting since 1982. I have decided to downsize and let them find a
new home.

Peggy Sue is holding her favorite doll with her teddy bear and at her feet.
A master at depicting authentic antique dolls in turn-of-the-century
clothing, Jan Hagara's artistic creations reflect back to a time of
curls, lace, bonnets and bisque dolls.
Jan Hagara
produces collectibles that are based on her original watercolor art or
sculpted from a living model. She began making figurines in 1983, which
were issued by Royal Orleans. Since then, Jan has created dozens of
figurines including the Georgetown Series.
Jan begins with an
idea that is worked out in photo sessions with a child-model dressed in
antique clothing. She then brings her creations to life on painted
canvas and in sculptured figurines -- both of which are highly sought
after by enthusiastic collectors.
