Has been touched up with the same colors that it was originally done . Absolutely gorgeous heavy piece. Valued in 1993 at over $800. Santa was made by the artist Double Diamond from England who first made one of these pie birds for a good friend of mine who sells pie birds. After it was made, she wasn't happy with the result so she had him make a different design. That being said, this is the prototype for which only one of these exist.
